Intended Uses
During orthopedic surgery such as bone destruction, loss, or correction, bone is transplanted to the area where bone is needed to assist bone regeneration.
- Filling and reconstruction of bone defects caused by strain (fracture) or bone tumor curettage
- Bone defects depending on the presence or absence of pseudoarthrosis
- Filling of incisions during open wedge osteotomy such as tibial osteotomy and pediatric acetabuloplasty
- Bone defects resulting from plastic surgery or correction of joints or specific areas
- Bone defects due to joint puncture (E.N.T) and maxillofacial surgery procedures
- Filler between disc space and posterolateral fusion during interbody fusion
- Other surgical procedures requiring bone grafting
